Work Stress and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk
Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress and work discipline on employee performance at PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk and examine the simultaneous influence of both variables.
Methodology: This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample consisted of 40 employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and the coefficient of determination test.
Results: The findings reveal that work stress has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while work discipline has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, work stress and work discipline significantly influence employee performance at PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk.
Conclusion: The study concludes that effective stress management and improved work discipline are important factors in enhancing employee performance. Organizations should develop appropriate strategies to minimize excessive work stress and strengthen discipline practices.
Limitations: This study is limited by the small sample size and its focus on a single company, which may affect the generalizability of the findings.
Contribution: This study provides empirical evidence on human resource management by highlighting the importance of managing work stress and discipline to improve employee performance.
